Terms of Service

These terms govern use of CodeGuardHost websites, customer accounts and purchased services.

1. Services and orders

CodeGuardHost provides website development, managed hosting, SEO, domain services and related support. Each order is governed by the package description, approved requirements, applicable service-specific terms and any approved Change Request.

2. Accounts and authority

You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep credentials secure. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

3. Payments and recurring services

Website-development and approved Change Request fees are one-time unless expressly stated otherwise. Hosting and SEO may renew monthly or annually as selected. Domain registrations and renewals are generally annual. Renewal pricing may differ from introductory pricing and is shown before purchase where practical.

4. Project approvals

Website requirements become locked after customer approval. New or changed requests after approval may require a Change Request with price and schedule impact. Defects that do not match approved requirements are not treated as billable scope changes.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use CodeGuardHost services for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, malicious or security-threatening activity. The Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these terms.

6. Third-party services

Domains, payment processing, email delivery, analytics and other features may rely on third-party infrastructure. Applicable third-party terms, registry rules and technical limitations may also apply.

7. Ownership and portability

Subject to payment standing and third-party licenses, customers retain ownership of their business content and legal domain registrant interests. CodeGuardHost does not use technical lock-in solely to prevent migration. Export or migration assistance may require reasonable verification and may be separately billable depending on complexity.

8. No guaranteed business outcome

CodeGuardHost does not guarantee revenue, lead volume, traffic, search ranking, uptime beyond an expressly written service commitment, or other business outcomes.

9. Suspension and termination

Services may be suspended for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use or material breach. You may cancel recurring services subject to the applicable cancellation terms. Obligations that by their nature survive termination remain in effect.

10. Contact and updates

Questions may be sent to support@codeguardhost.com. We may update these terms as services or law change; material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
