Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how one-time projects, recurring services and domain transactions are treated when a customer requests cancellation or refund.

Website development

Website-development fees fund project intake, planning and delivery. If you request cancellation before work begins, contact support promptly for review. After work begins, any refund is evaluated based on completed work, committed costs and applicable law. Approved defects are corrected under the project workflow and are not treated as paid Change Requests.

Hosting and SEO

Recurring hosting and SEO may be cancelled for future renewal. Cancellation does not normally reverse a billing period that has already begun or services already delivered, except where required by law or where CodeGuardHost confirms a duplicate or erroneous charge.

Domains

Domain registration, renewal and transfer transactions may become non-refundable once submitted because registry or registrar costs can be incurred immediately. Test-billing UAT records never create real domain registration charges.

Change Requests and additional work

Paid Change Requests are tied to separately approved added scope. Refund eligibility depends on whether work has begun and on committed third-party costs.

Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support@codeguardhost.com with the order or invoice reference so we can investigate promptly.

Cancellation method

Use the Billing or Support areas in your customer account, or email support@codeguardhost.com. We will confirm the effective cancellation date for recurring services.
